Runningco.com says: Although it will be tough for Pennsville to duplicate the tremendous success it had last season, the team won’t drop off too much in 2007. What coach Geoff Shute has back is a strong top three in seniors Mark Kearney, T.J. Mowers and Matt Power, who are all used to winning big meets. Add in junior Justin Schmid, who was top seven last fall, junior Justin Acton, junior Evan Saltzman and sophomore Jon Scull and the Eagles again have one of the better Group 1 teams in the state. With Kearney leading the way, this team should roll through the Tri-County Classic, challenge Haddon Heights for the South Jersey Group 1 title and be right in the mix for a top-three finish at the Group 1 state meet.
