Runningco.com says: In his first season as boys’ head coach, Tim O’Donnell, who coached the Atlantic City girls’ cross country team for the last four years, acquires a team that returns three top-seven performers from 2006. Although the team is in a loaded conference and group, the Vikings will hold their own. The leaders of this year’s group will be the junior trio of Danny O’Donnell, Matt Ardelean and Eddie Arentz. Beyond the top three, there’s still some battling going on for top-seven positions. Although it appears that this team is a year away from really competing for a Group 4 state-meet birth, Atlantic City is still a group that other South Jersey teams will have to keep an eye out for at major meets. |
