Community
The running community is very important to us. We strive to make the world a better place to run! As an example, we support a number of races and we do events like the picture below from the 4th of July Parade in Moorestown:

Customer Feedback:
We love to get feedback from customers. Here is an example of what we hear:
"This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of purchasing a pair of New Balance running shoes from Ed at your Moorestown Running Company store. I was very impressed with his service and knowledge of the products and sport. I was also impressed with your array of products including apparel, shoes and accessories."
"I just wanted to thank-you for the wonderful experience in your store on Saturday. The guys were amazing, helpful and very knowledgeable. We both ran in our new shoes today and they felt great. We will be bringing our daughter in soon for shoes as well. I also wanted to ask if it would be alright to recommend your store to my patients at work. We are always referring them out for good running shoes to support their feet properly."
"I visited the store for the first time on Saturday and was very impressed. The space was attractive (and deceivingly big), the merchandise was enticing and the service was superb. I bought a great pair of Nikes and have been enjoying them every morning this week. Congratulations and best of luck."
"I am enjoying my running shoes I bought last month. The young man who helped me was polite and knowledgeable. It is really great to see a store like this on Main Street."
"I would like to thank you so much for your wonderful business. Your staff was incredibly helpful when I needed a perfect fit for my running shoe and I absolutly love the pair they suggested."

Bio: I started running in 9th grade when I hurt my back skate boarding and could not play football. I was the largest guy on the XC team for all 4 years of High School and was deemed "Pig Runner". I was awful at first but determined to get better. I went from a 27:30 5k in my first race as a
freshman to 16:45 at Sectionals senior year. Track was my true love. I was a decent 400 Hurdler by the time I graduated but got it handed to me at the Division 1 level in college. Which was a good thing because it got me to become a distance runner. After a broken foot in the summer of 2007, I am running road races and marathons.
I do have a life outside of running which many find hard to believe.
What that life is I do not know.

Bio: I started running my senior year in high school to get ready for basic training in the military. I never enlisted, but running stuck and led me to join the cross country teams at Gloucester County College and Rowan University. Early on in my running career, I was introduced to the sport of triathlon. Even though the past few years have been very rough because of a bike accident and two knee surgeries, my long term goal is to qualify for Hawaii Ironman and Ironman Lake Placid in 2010. My true passion in endurance sports is in coaching. I knew I wanted to set myself apart by coaching with the most efficient, individualized, and scientific based principles to training, which I do today through my coaching company ETA Coaching.

He moved to Mullica Hill the summer before his junior year and flourished there. He became a top runner in the Tri-county Conference and was able to obtain an athletic scholarship. After a fairly good college running career, Michael has begun to train again and find his limits. He has run the Philly Distance Run and now is going back to his 5k roots. High School: Saint John Nuemann, Philadelphia (when it was still all boys)
College: Saint Joseph's University - BS in Social Studies/Economics and MBA in Management Information Systems.
PRs: Our HS XC team was so small, that finishing the race was our PR. Since then my Marathon PR is 3:11, 5K PR is 18min (not recent), 50KM: 4:37min. 10Mile - Broad Street - 64Min.
My Shoe:Still Searching for that perfect shoe, although I have a definite leaning toward NIKE.
Favorite Run: Raritan Canal tow path and over the Ben Franklin Bridge.
Favorite Runner:Joe "The Silent Storm" Halin
Favorite Running Event: The Boston and Philly marathons.
Bio: I started running in HS as a way to stay in shape for Ice Hockey. Hockey was my favorite sport but running became my passion. I was not nearly talented enough to try out for the Saint Joes' XC team as a freshman so I stayed with hockey and played for the ICE Hawks. I never stopped running. After college and a few years of men's hockey leagues, hockey took a back seat to running and its been that way ever since. I have run over 20 marathons, 3 ultra-marathons, and hundreds of local road races. Recently, I took a group of adults that had never run before and trained with them for 12 weeks, finishing with a 5K. It was an awesome experience. Running to me is medicine. My full time career is in the faculatative reinsurance industry my part time passion is working for the Mooresown Running Company. MRC is the perfect place for me to stay connected to the sport and the people that love it.

Bio: I started running cross country in ninth grade because all of my friends were doing it. None of them took it seriously which made no sense to me. If I was going to be there I might as well try to be good. I thought I was pretty decent until I realized how many fast Kids were out there and so I tried my best to keep up for the next 7 or so years. Then in 2006 I realized that I could get the same satisfaction of running myself that could through coaching high school kids. And I'm now a proud Cross Country and Distance running coach In track at Camden Catholic Highschool.

The famous Coach Art Gulden built a reputation for taking average high school runners and making them very good with lots of hard work and focus. Bob ran 100 mile weeks during much of his college career. Upon graduation, Bob became a typical engineer and business man and gradually decreased his mileage to nothing while chasing his kids and career. More recently, Bob has become the volunteer assistant coach for the Moorestown High School Cross Country and Track teams helping head coach Lorenzo Eagles and a great team of high school boys have fun with running. You can learn more about that team at www.moorestownxc.org. Bob also ran in the "Reach the Beach Relay" in 2003 and 2004 with the Bucknell Fossil (over 40) team. He also helped found the Moorestown Distance Running Club several years ago and helps put on races like the Moorestown Turkey Trot and the Moorestown Family Fun Day 5K and the Scott Coffee Moorestown Rotary 8K. In the fall of 2006, he and Dave Welsh started talking about extending the Haddonfield Running Company concept into Moorestown, and in the Spring of 2007, that vision became reality. Bob lives in Moorestown, is married to Marlise, and has two great daughters. He keeps trying to get back into shape and maybe compete again some day - but the biggest goal is just to be healthy enough to run with the Moorestown Cross Country team for as long as he can...
